“They devoted themselves . . . to prayer” (Acts 2:42).
Prayer is an invitation for God to invade us. Prayer is an offering up of our desires to God, for things agreeable to His will, in the name of Christ, with confession of our sins, and thankful acknowledgment of His mercies. We all have times when problems look too big or last too long. Times when we feel alone and isolated, so much so that you may feel bitter or cold towards God. We need the power of prayer. We are at our strongest when we kneel before our Father. We need people to kneel beside us in prayer.
To neglect prayer is to embrace atheism. Come join us, we will kneel with you.
This is our regular attempt to follow the early Church in seeking the face of God and power of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus. Every Thursday evening from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. any who so desire meet and pray together. We also meet in the pastor’s office on Sunday morning from 10:00 – 10:20 a.m. to pray for our worship. All are welcome. All are encouraged to join in. We’d love to have you come join us!
